Our Philosophy

We are an alliance of seasoned consultants. We have many years of experience as managers, staff and consultants in over 15 UN and International Finance Institution (IFI) organizations as well as other experience, including private sector. Biographical information for our principals can be found on this web site Erik Eriksen, Fernande Faulkner or Brian Foster.

Our work is grounded in these principles:

Implementing, Not Just Reporting

Consultants work best when well integrated with existing management activities and not as stand-alone actors. We tailor our approach with each client, make adjustments with the client at each step of the progress, and work for measurable results while we are still on site. We pay close attention to building local capacity for sustaining work after our departure.

A Global Approach To Change

Any change effort, no matter how limited it seems, has an impact on the whole system and culture of an organization. We believe that change succeeds only when all people in a system are fully engaged, which is why we bring appropriate methodologies to work with management and staff simultaneously. Our effort is to ensure that the desired changes will in fact be sustainable.

Intensiveness

Our bias is for speed. It is this combination of comprehensiveness, speed and intensiveness that marks our approach, because in our experience that is what it takes to implement sustainable change management in cross-cultural environments.

Commitment, Not Lip Service

We use both large-scale and small-scale interventions with the whole employee group to ensure genuine commitment to and involvement in change, not just lip service. We believe that all members of an organization need to be engaged with both brain and heart at an early stage in change management so that they can contribute to the change process and be accountable for changes.
